MWMS Policy Landscape includes all site based, sensible default, and charter-wide policies and plans including the Annual Report   and Literacy Plan.  MWMS is authorized by Osprey Wilds School Division. To view MWMS's authorizer evaluations please  follow this link.

 

MWMS is governed by a school board comprised of teachers, parents and community members. Meeting dates and times are posted on our Board Calendar. Each meeting begins with an opportunity for growth and development and anyone from the community is welcome and encouraged to attend.

​Past elections: 

  • MWMS holacracy board elections for Facilitator were held on Thursday, February 26th, 2026 during the MWMS Board Meeting, for Lead-link at the April 23rd board meeting and for Holacracy Secretary at the May 28th board meeting.

  • MWMS held Special Elections for two teacher position roles at the April 23rd, 2026 board meeting.  Results were unanimous for each. See the candidate list for details.

  • School Board Elections took place at the May Board meeting on Thursday, May 28th, 2026. For details, see the Board Election Outcomes.

  • The next the board meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 25th, 2026 at 6:00 PM. Location will be Cosmos Montessori and accessible via zoom interactive technology. Please contact us two weeks before the meeting to request a reasonable accommodation.​

  • The Governance working group meeting is scheduled to take place on the second Wednesday of every month at 4:00 PM via zoom interactive technology.

  • The Finance Committee meeting is scheduled to take place on the third Monday of every month at 4:00 PM. via zoom interactive technology.
